Painting & Gaming in August

 Hi guys,

Hope all of you are healthy.

The Covid cases here are hovering around 20k++ daily....damn, still a long way to go.

As the usual drill, please take care of your health. Wear mask, use sanitizer, do social distancing, and follow SOP.

And before we proceed, I'm wishing you guys a Happy Independence Day!!!! SELAMAT HARI KEMERDEKAAN!!!!!! woot wooot !!!!

OK lets get started.

1) Painting minis

Continuing the WHU theme (and backlog), I've finished another warband; the Ironskull Boyz. These guys were painted in vibrant color like the other two warbands. The intention of painting them bright cartoon-y color is to oppose the bleak, grim & dark mood of the board game...and peep can see better the model position in the photo.

The completed group photos:

Next warband will be the Daughter of Khaine warband.

2) Making minis clipper & holder

I'm not sure what the official name it is, but this 'thing' is widely use by people, especially while airbrushing. As it is quite difficult to get a good ones, I decided to made mine.

This thing really helps when priming the minis. Later maybe I need to purchase the paint handles for better grip during painting.

3) Playing boardgames

This month we (Me, Wifey & Eldest Son) played some as usual. First off I got my new purchase; Happy Little Dinosaur, Here to Slay & Abandon All Artichokes. And obviously we immediately played them.

Then, throughout the month we've also played:

  1. The Magic Labyrinth
  2. Splendor
  3. Ticket to Ride
  4. Pandemic
  5. Potion Explosion

And as expected, we didn't get our gaming date just for the two of us....as usual.

So until then.

Stay safe guys.
