Catch-ups....

It's been a while since my last post. A lot of things happens in-between these time. Our Legio Operation Bagration Campaign has ended last week. The German team have total control of the territories & the Soviet team have defended their lands with all it's might...yet the Germans surfaces as the overall victor. Its a wonderful games played & enjoyed by all players. Last night, a small ceremony held to acknowledged all the blood, sweat & tears, & we received our 1st actual medal...OOOOOYYYEEEEAAHHHH!!!! A big cheers to Khairul & Jeff for organizing this campaign & the effort they've put for the medal.

So, straight away our club organized a small campaign; the Tank Aces Campaign & the first battle was fought yesterday night as well. Basically, each player will fought as American (Allied) or German (Axis), starting with 500pts for Turn 1. Turn 1 will be running for 2 weeks (yesterday & next Friday).

I'm playing as American 7th Armoured Division Tank Company, commanded by Lieutenant Shukur 'No-One' as the Tank Ace (honestly, I've no idea how I came up with that name..hehehe). So far, I've managed to achieve 1 ability in the 1st Turn. Yet, the German do have a formidable commander which we, the American need to come up with tactic to fought the said commander in the next battle ;) hehehehe

Bagration Update : Firestorm Platoon - Part 2

Well, this might came late...but last Wednesday I've finished painting Soviet Reserve Heavy Artillery Battalion for Bagration Firestorm Platoon...and they have made they debut in the battle last night :)

Bagration Update : Firestorm Platoon

So, the final task in preparing myself for the anticipated Bagration Campaign is to complete Firestorm Platoon assigned to me a while ago. Each player in this campaign will prepare some of the Firestorm Platoon according to their country. These platoons will play their role as additional support for the player's army to fight in decisive battles.

My task is to complete 2 teams of SU-76M consist of 5 tanks each & 1 strong team of T-34/76 tanks...and it's done!! :D

And to compliment myself for completing a full army company & Firestorm Platoon, I've painted 2 mission objectives which I'll be using for this campaign..yeah!!! :)

As the title says...I've officially completed my Soviet 8th Independent Penal Battalion... OOOOYYYEEEAAAHHHH!!!!!

The final teams I painted were:

Bagration Update : Shtraf Company

The core unit of my Penal Batalion is finally complete....Wahahaha!!! 46 strong infantry bases commanded by Leytenant A V Pyl'cyn with his aid Rita Makarievskaya to defeat all the facists.
The hero is a compulsory unit in his company, where his abilities are able to deploy the whole company as Independent Team & can act as Pioneer Team. In other hand, Rita able to make attempt to heal a company infantry base per turn.

Bagration Update : Katyusha Rocket Mortar Battery

This week update is "Little Kathy"...or Kathies they are hehehe. I've manage to complete 8 units Soviet Katyusha BM-13 for our upcoming campaign. In the game, mine will be considered 2 units for each bases as I've assembled them with 5 crews..so in total I have a 16 unit rocket battery to stop my enemy, & that's mean I'll be using the 1Ft battery template Muahahahahahaha!!!! Unfortunately, I'm only able to deploy all of them in  2,000 points game...which still remain to be seen. Hopefully the German team do have a 2,000 points player...I'm itching to get my Kathies to show their wrath hehehe

For my battalion, my only vehicles are these & SU-122 Tanks. So after this I'll concentrate more on completing my Shtraf companies.
